To be honest though I beat it using the ipecac/my reflection on a different platform I was happy to get moms knife in basement 2, instant win. Suicide King with its goal being cathedral makes the list too, largely in part due to the fact anybody lucky enough or skilled enough to beat moms heart will have their heart sink when they don't see a trophy pop up.

Onan's streak gets in based on its demanding playstyle, that is to say if you don't do it Onan's way you will die (at least until you have a way to circumvent using tears). the combination of both no hp drops in any way, shape or form along with (wait for it) curse of the maze, curse of the blind and curse of the labyrinth!! Yeah so fun times ahead for anybody who wants to go for this and while I did opt to cross it off last it was still done in 1 day, not a bad challenge but certainly a memorable 1. Ultra Hard obviously gets in here based purely on, from what I've gathered.

Not going to rant but I won with full hp so overall the challenge wasn't so bad, even got the screenshot for it.
The second run was with the red cross which dictates where you fire, I had proptosis, flight, spectral tears and deaths scythe and fortunately the game saw fit to only remove flight on basement 1, the red cross also got removed in the womb so huge boon there, overall a a pleasant experience.īrains! Oh I'm sure you know this 1 made the list, as it turns out this is hardest because it wins out in my least favorite way to play, learning to distance and kill is something that comes naturally but when even a spider can sidestep your 1 hit kill attacks it just annoys, add to this the fact womb 2 fight can and will summon Teratoma (black fistula) and its hell.
I had 2 lucky runs and 1 was due to the fool, when I got that and went straight to sheol I thought plain sailing, unfortunately laser vs flying leeches left me strapped for hp and in the womb some eyeball potshotted me. Pay to Play gets an honourable mention for being luck based, as I went into it just a couple days back I wasn't particularly looking forward to it but not knowing how far in the goal was I assumed it was moms heart, anyway skip forward to getting the gist of hardly being hit and a few damage ups later, the run was over in a few tries and luck didn't play in as much as skill imo.īackaswards (mispelt to avoid censor) was surprisingly devilish, mostly to do with unfamiliar setups and getting the most out of what I spawned with. Time to compare the hardest challenges and maybe get feedback on if I've got things down right, I've beaten every challenge already so my opinion will be valid on all of them.
